Travel Registered Nurse ICU Job
Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit travel assignment in Tuba City, Arizona, United States. Start date 08/24/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,159–$2,337 per week, with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift: Any. Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU (5-bed unit)
- Monitor patient status, manage assessments, medications, and device therapies as ordered
- Administer treatments per physician orders and facility protocols; document care in the electronic health record
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice clinicians, and multidisciplinary teams to adjust care plans
- Float to ED, Med/Surg, or Peds as needed; assist with post-operative recovery and emergent events
- Educate patients and families, ensure safety, comfort, and adherence to infection prevention and safety standards
Requirements
- Licensure: Current, unrestricted RN license to practice in the United States (any state, territory, or DC)
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of ICU experience
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) completed within 6 months of hire; Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) within 6 months of hire; NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) within 6 months of hire
- Additional: Ability to work in an ICU setting and float to other units as needed; comfort providing care to a broad age range
