Travel Radiology Interventional Radiology Tech Job
Interventional Radiology Tech (IR Tech) – travel assignment in Pocatello, Idaho. Start May 11, 2026 for several weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,315–$2,401 per week. Guaranteed hours: none. Shift: 4x10-hour days. Setting: hospital-based Interventional Radiology / Hybrid suite with 1 IR room, 1 Hybrid room, and a procedure room for paracentesis/thoracentesis. Case mix includes endovascular and stroke procedures such as thrombectomy, carotid stents, Y-90, EVAR/TEVAR, kyphoplasty, and related vascular/diagnostic interventions. Daily census is approximately 10 patients. Experience centers on endovascular and cross-functional interventional support in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities
- Support endovascular and stroke cases, assisting physicians with IR/vascular/interventional procedures
- Prepare, position, scrub, and instrument for procedures; maintain sterile technique and support room turnover
- Contribute to a wide case mix including thrombectomy/thrombolysis, carotid stents, EVAR/TEVAR, Y90, kyphoplasty, paracentesis/thoracentesis
- Assist with central venous access, PICC, and IVC filter procedures; manage patient safety and procedural flow
- Operate fluoroscopy/angiography equipment (Siemens Icono Bi-Plane, Philips Azure single plane) and support equipment setup and maintenance
- Document in Epic (preferred) and manage PACS imaging; ensure accurate charting and procedure logging
- Participate in the call schedule: 1 weekday and every 4th weekend (call only)
- Provide care for a pediatric through geriatric patient population; contribute to a varied acuity mix
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of IR/vascular/interventional experience (preferred)
- Travel experience not required
- Certifications: ACLS, ARRT (R), BLS; Additional certifications listed: ARRT VI, CCI RCIS
- Ability to work in an Interventional Radiology / Hybrid suite and support high-acuity vascular and stroke procedures
- Epic charting experience preferred
- 100-mile radius rule: traveler must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to qualify
