ER Registered Nurse travel assignment in Marysville, California. Start date: 08/10/2026. Duration: 8 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,770–$1,838 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for ER patients across age groups, guided by the nursing process and medical plan of care.
- Triage, treat, and manage acute conditions in a fast-paced emergency department, including trauma cases.
- Collaborate with physicians and other health care team members to coordinate delivery of care and ensure patient safety.
- Assess patient needs, develop and adjust care plans, perform essential procedures within scope, and document care and outcomes.
- Incorporate teaching and discharge planning into the overall plan of care; delegate tasks to appropriate staff based on competence and scope.
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and team members to support informed decision-making and continuity of care.
Requirements
- Active RN license in California (unrestricted) and good standing
- Minimum requirements include ability to work 12-hour night shifts and 36 hours per week
- ER/trauma nursing experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to care for patients across all ages and to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Eligible for short-term travel assignment and able to meet shift and scheduling requirements
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and documentation skills
