Travel Registered Nurse Med Surg Job
Registered Nurse - Med Surg, travel assignment in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Start date: 04/20/2026. Eight-week contract with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift: Night 12x3. This is an acute care, travel assignment requiring Med Surg expertise with a neuro-trauma focus.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for Med Surg patients, including trauma and neurotrauma cases such as spinal injuries and paraplegia, in an acute care setting
- Perform comprehensive assessments, administer medications, monitor vital signs, and respond quickly to clinical changes
- Document care, assessments, and patient education in the electronic medical record (Epic) in a timely and accurate manner
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and execute patient care plans and discharge planning
- Uphold patient safety and quality care standards, including infection prevention, pain management, and fall risk assessment
- Communicate clearly with patients and families, delivering education and support related to diagnosis, treatment, and recovery
Requirements
- Active RN license with Nursys verification; Georgia licensure preferred for local practice
- Minimum 2 years of Med Surg experience, with exposure to trauma/Neuro/Spinal injury populations
- Epic EMR experience is required
- Ability to work Night shift; 12-hour shifts; guaranteed 36 hours per week during the 8-week assignment
- No time off requests (No RTO) during the assignment
- Current nursing certification(s) as applicable to Med Surg/trauma care
