Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for a designated group of patients during the assigned shift
- Prescribe and administer nursing care according to the nursing process, aligned with the medical plan of care and input from patients and significant others

- Incorporate patient teaching and discharge planning into the overall plan of care

Requirements
- Current, active Registered Nurse license (state requirements apply)

- Competence in applying the nursing process to plan and deliver care per the medical plan
- Ability to care for patients across age groups as appropriate for the assigned unit
