Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under supervision, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
- Support residents with ambulation, transfers, and positioning to promote safety and comfort.
- Observe and report changes in condition to the supervising nurse; document care provided and basic vitals as directed.
- Assist with meal intake, feeding assistance, and snacks, while supporting residents’ nutrition and hydration needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful patient environment; uphold infection control and privacy standards.
Requirements
- Active CNA certification in Minnesota
- Ability to work night shift as the primary schedule, with potential secondary daytime shift
- Completion of approved CNA training program or equivalent
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; compassion and patient-centered approach
- Comfortable working in a long-term care/assisted living setting
- Prior CNA experience preferred but not required
