Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adults in a LTC/inpatient setting as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Administer medications, treatments, and monitor patient responses; intervene as needed to ensure safety and comfort.
- Assess patient status, document findings, and contribute to updating individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other care team members; communicate with patients and families to support informed decision-making.
- Ensure adherence to nursing standards, regulatory requirements, and ethical practice; maintain accurate charting and infection control practices.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Georgia
- Knowledge of the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in an inpatient long-term care environment
- Nursing degree (RN) from an accredited program
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to work in a fast-paced interdisciplinary setting
