Physical Therapy Assistant – LTAC in Culver City, CA, United States. This is a travel - temporary assignment starting November 10, 2026 for 13 weeks. Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed PT, implementing and adjusting the plan of care for LTAC patients.
- Perform and progress therapeutic exercises, gait and transfer training, ROM, and functional mobility activities.
- Monitor patient responses, document progress, and communicate findings to the supervising PT and care team.
- Assist with transfers, positioning, gait aids, and device setup; ensure patient safety and proper use of equipment.
- Prepare and apply modalities and interventions as directed; assist with wound care and edema management as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with infection control and patient privacy standards.
Requirements
- Active or eligible California Physical Therapy Assistant license
- Associate degree from an accredited PTA program (or equivalent)
- Inpatient rehabilitation/LTAC experience preferred; not required
- Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced LTAC setting and follow the plan of care under supervision
