Speech Language Pathologist (Acute Care) — Everett, Washington — Travel assignment beginning 08/17/2026 for multiple weeks; 5x8 daytime shift; weekly pay range $2,050–$2,143; no guaranteed hours. This outpatient pediatric-specific role involves clinical work in a pediatric program with NICU-adjacent services, supporting pediatric patients across developmental stages. Responsibilities
- Conduct pediatric SLP assessments and developmental evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing language, articulation, fluency, voice, feeding/oral-motor skills, and AAC
- Provide therapy for pediatric developmental delays, autism spectrum considerations, and related conditions
- Educate families and caregivers, including treatment planning, home programs, and progress communication
- Document findings and progress in the designated electronic medical record; utilize standard evaluation codes
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and adapt plans as needed; may be asked to float within the hospital or to nearby sites per policy
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of pediatric Speech-Language Pathology experience
- Travel experience required; first-timers not accepted
- BLS certification
- Proficiency with EPIC or a comparable EMR system
- Experience with standardized assessment tools (e.g., PLS-4, CELF) and with autism/developmental delays
- Ability to work in an outpatient pediatric setting and follow clinic protocols; flexibility to float within the facility or to nearby sites as needed
