Radiology Tech – Interventional Radiology Tech, Austell, GA, US. This is a 13-week travel assignment starting June 29, 2026, with a 40-hour week on day shifts (10 hours per day). Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of interventional radiology procedures across IR, vascular hybrid, and neuro-interventional settings following department procedures.
- Set up imaging equipment and position patients to obtain high-quality diagnostic studies.
- Safely operate imaging systems and optimize acquisitions to support accurate diagnoses and treatments.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort, applying age-appropriate care and radiation safety practices.
- Collaborate with the Chief Technologist and Vascular Institute Manager to ensure efficient, safe workflows and continuity of care.
- Document procedures accurately and support department quality and safety initiatives.
Requirements
- Active radiologic technologist license for Georgia or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Experience or demonstrated ability in interventional radiology procedures; familiarity with IR, vascular hybrid, and neuro-interventional work is preferred.
- Ability to independently perform job functions, set up equipment, and position patients for procedures.
- Eligible to work in the IR, vascular hybrid, and neuro-interventional settings as described.
- Availability for day shift, 10-hour shifts, on a travel assignment basis.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; commitment to patient safety and quality imaging.
