Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated OB/GYN nursing care for a defined patient group according to established standards and the nursing process
- Collect relevant patient data, analyze assessments, and develop and implement a care plan; monitor progress and adjust as needed
- Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff at multiple levels; coordinate care with other disciplines
- Administer medications, monitor maternal and fetal status, and provide appropriate interventions to support safe outcomes
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care and provide patient and family education
- Collaborate with the care team to create a safe, healing environment; delegate duties appropriately and support team learning

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California (state of practice)
- At least two years of recent experience in obstetric/acute care nursing
- Current BLS (AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS) certification
- Current ACLS (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS) certification
- Current NRP (AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS) certification
- EPIC experience required
- BSN preferred
- Ability to work night shift in a hospital setting
- Must be able to support Labor and Delivery recovery and cesarean delivery events as needed
