LPN – Licensed Practical Nurse in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting. Location: Belen, New Mexico. Start date: March 4, 2026. Duration: 17 weeks. Weekly pay: $993–$1,052 per week. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to residents in a skilled nursing setting, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications under orders, wound care, and routine procedures
- Perform patient assessments and document changes, report concerns to the charge nurse, and participate in care planning with the interdisciplinary team
- Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and basic nursing procedures following policy and safety standards
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, mobility, fall prevention, and daily care tasks
- Maintain accurate documentation in MARs, flowsheets, and electronic health records; ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Respond promptly to calls and emergencies; collaborate with licensed staff to ensure patient safety and quality of care
Requirements
- Active LPN license in New Mexico in good standing
- Graduation from an approved practical nursing program with a diploma or certificate
- Ability to work a 3x12 night shift (18:00–06:30) and adapt to a night schedule
- Local placement only; no relocation required
- Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment checks (background and drug screen) as required
