Radiology Technologist – Interventional Radiology in Rochester, NY. Start date: 06/08/2026. 13-week travel assignment in a hospital setting. Earn $3,260 to $3,452 per week, with 8-hour shifts. This travel assignment requires on-call/callback coverage and includes weekend call responsibilities as needed by the unit.

Responsibilities
- Demonstrate competence in selecting exposure factors and positioning to produce diagnostic-quality interventional radiology images.
- Instruct and prepare patients for examinations; assist the radiologist during procedures; collaborate with department staff to maintain workflow.
- Operate interventional radiology equipment and report malfunctions to the manager or lead technologist; support room turnover and department efficiency between procedures.
- Maintain patient rights and confidentiality, delivering compassionate and respectful care to patients across all age groups.
- Demonstrate proficiency with Hospital Information System (HIS), Radiology Information System (RIS), and PACS; participate in confidentiality and security practices for patient data.
- Contribute to department performance improvement activities as warranted; adhere to medication security policies and escalate concerns as needed.
- On-call duties as required: five to seven call shifts per seven-week cycle, with two to four of these shifts on weekends.
Requirements
- NYS Radiologic Technologist license or be eligible to obtain prior to start
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Two years of interventional radiology experience
- VIR certification: preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work in a hospital environment and to operate within HIS/RIS/PACS
- Interpersonal skills and ability to provide care across age groups
