Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, ensuring patient safety and quality of care.
- Coordinate care with other disciplines to ensure seamless patient flow and optimal outcomes.
- Apply critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment in daily care planning and execution.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team; document care and patient responses accurately.
Requirements
- Active RN license in California (or eligible per state requirements)
- BLS certification at time of assignment
- ER nursing experience preferred; minimum demonstration of strong critical care competencies
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and adapt to a 36-hour weekly schedule
- Strong assessment, prioritization, and collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment
