Travel Radiology MRI Tech Job
MRI Technologist (MRI Tech) – Radiology, Burlington, VT, United States. Travel temporary assignment starting 05/18/2026 for 4 weeks, with a weekly pay range of $2,298–$2,377 per week. Shift: 3x12 Nights. Setting: hospital imaging department. This position requires ARRT or ARMRIT MRI certification with MR advanced licensure, Philips MRI experience, and a minimum of 1 year of MRI practice. Teaching hospital experience and Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years are required. Licensure must be on file at the time of submission.

Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations using Philips equipment, following physician orders and departmental protocols while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Conduct thorough patient screening, verify identity, obtain consent, and assess contraindications for MRI procedures.
- Position patients and coils accurately, select appropriate sequences, monitor acquisition quality, and adjust parameters as needed to optimize image quality.
- Administer contrast and manage IV access within scope of practice, when indicated and approved, while monitoring patient response.
- Document procedures and results in the Epic EMR, ensuring accurate patient data and exam labeling; collaborate with radiologists and other team members to ensure timely interpretation.
- Maintain MRI safety standards, infection control, and equipment safety checks; communicate any concerns or anomalies to the supervising staff; provide patient education regarding the MRI process.
Requirements
- Active ARRT (MRI) or ARMRIT certification with MRI advanced licensure; license must be on file at submission.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum 1 year MRI technologist experience.
- Philips MRI system experience required.
- Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years (nonnegotiable).
- Teaching hospital experience required.
- Travel assignment experience preferred.
