Registered Nurse – Med Surg Tele (Travel) in Plattsburgh, NY. Start date 12/14/2026 for 16 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,625 to $2,782. Shift: 3x12 Nights. Employment Type: Travel - Temporary Assignment. Setting: hospital-based Med/Surg Tele unit with ED Hold and float coverage as needed.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for adult medical/surgical telemetry patients, including monitoring telemetry and vital signs
- Administer medications, manage IV therapies and infusion pumps, and perform routine procedures
- Conduct bladder scans, glucose monitoring, blood draws, and specimen collection as applicable
- Document care in the electronic health record and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team
- Respond to patient changes in condition, collaborate with ED hold resources, and support float needs across units as assigned
- Ensure patient safety and quality of care, including adherence to unit protocols and patient education

Requirements
- Active NY RN license or proof of application with applied date (NY licensing timeframe acknowledged)
- AHA BLS certification required
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) assessment required prior to starting
- Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience; minimum 1 year of experience in the specialty
- CMSRN certification preferred
- Prior travel experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced tele-managed Med/Surg setting and participate in a non self-scheduling rotation
