Travel Occupational Therapist Job
Occupational Therapist – Acute care travel assignment in Lodi, California. Start date 06/01/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range is $1,987–$2,047. Shift is 5x8 days with day shifts (typical 08:00–16:30) and may include 07:30 or 08:30 starts. Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital. This assignment requires licensure in the state of practice and current BLS; experience with Epic documentation is expected, Cerner is a plus.

Responsibilities
- Conduct OT evaluations and deliver therapy for adult patients across acute rehab, neurology, ICU, and cardiovascular units.
- Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans to improve functional mobility, ADLs, cognition, and foundational skills; provide patient and family education.
- Administer therapeutic interventions, including mobility training, ADL retraining, splinting, wheelchair and seating assessments, and durable medical equipment recommendations.
- Document assessments, treatment plans, and progress in the designated electronic medical record (Epic); Cerner experience is a plus.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support discharge planning, transitions of care, and family/caregiver education; ensure safety and infection control standards.
Requirements
- Active Occupational Therapy license in the state of practice (California)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Experience with Adult Acute Rehab, Neuro, ICU, and Cardiovascular populations
- Proficiency with Epic; Cerner experience is a plus
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute care setting
- Availability for a 13-week travel assignment
