Travel Registered Nurse PACU Job
Registered Nurse – PACU in Honolulu, Hawaii, beginning 05/11/2026 for a 16-week travel assignment. Weekly pay ranges from $2,567 to $2,683 per week with 40 guaranteed hours per week. Shifts are 4x10 rotating in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities
- Provide post-anesthesia care for PACU Phase I/II patients, including monitoring of airway, breathing, circulation, vitals, and recovery from anesthesia
- Assess patient status, manage pain and nausea, administer medications per protocols, and adjust care plans as patient condition evolves
- Monitor telemetry where indicated; promptly respond to changes in patient condition; communicate with anesthesia and surgical teams; prepare for discharge to a unit or transfer as appropriate
- Document care activities, vitals, medications, and patient progress; ensure patient safety and adherence to infection control and safety protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support timely recovery, discharge planning, and patient education for families or caregivers
Requirements
- Active Hawaii RN license in good standing; unencumbered
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred
- Certifications: current BLS/HCP, ACLS, and PALS required
- Telemetry experience required; ICU experience highly preferred
- PACU Phase I/II RN experience: 2+ years in a comparable size/type medical center (500+ beds, Level 1 Trauma Center)
- CPI (or equivalent) and NIHSS preferred; specialty certifications such as CCRN, CPAN, PCCN highly desired
- All licenses and certifications must be valid at the time of application submission and remain valid through the duration of the initial contract
- Compliance documentation must be completed no later than 10 days prior to the contract start date
