Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to pediatric ICU patients, including rapid assessment and ongoing monitoring of critical conditions.
- Administer medications, manage IVs, and support ventilator and other life-support equipment as needed.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and update individualized care plans for patients and families.
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the healthcare team; advocate for patient safety and family-centered care.
- Document care accurately and in a timely manner; adhere to hospital policies and infection control practices.
Requirements
- Active registered nurse license in Georgia
- Eligibility to practice in travel nursing assignments
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a pediatric critical care setting
- Strong clinical skills in pediatric critical care, patient safety, and family communication
- Ability to operate in a high-acuity hospital environment and follow unit policies
