Travel Registered Nurse PCU Job
Registered Nurse – PCU travel assignment in Atlanta, GA, starting 06/01/2026 for 13 weeks. Earn $1,740-$1,824 per week with guaranteed 36 hours. Shift is Night, 2x3 schedule. Work in a hospital setting and float to all PCU/IMCU floors with cardiac populations, including STEMI and NSTEMI patients, using EPIC EMR for documentation.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to PCU/IMCU cardiac patients, with a 1:3-4 nurse-to-patient ratio on the float pool
- Float to PCU/IMCU floors and telemetry beds as needed, supporting higher-acuity and lower-acuity cardiac populations
- Monitor vital signs, interpret ECGs, and respond to cardiovascular events (STEMI, NSTEMI) with appropriate interventions
- Administer and titrate cardiac medications and drips (Milrinone, Dobutamine, vasopressors) per physician orders
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the EPIC EMR; communicate changes to the care team
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety, timely interventions, and discharge planning
Requirements
- Active RN license (state not specified) or eligibility for licensure to practice as a registered nurse
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a similar-sized facility, with cardiac/telemetry exposure
- Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital setting and float to PCU/IMCU floors with cardiac patients
