Certified Nursing Assistant (LNA) travel assignment in Brattleboro, Vermont. Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
- Assist with meals, feeding, and documenting intake as part of nutrition and hydration management
- Support safe transfers and mobility with appropriate assistive devices and techniques
- Observe resident conditions, report changes promptly to the supervising nurse, and document care provided per policy
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment; uphold resident dignity and privacy
- Follow care plans, infection control protocols, and safety procedures; contribute to a collaborative care team
Requirements
- Active CNA/LNA license or certification in Vermont (state requirements must be met)
- Prior experience in a long-term care or geriatric setting preferred
- Ability to read and follow care plans and communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members
- Physical ability to perform tasks typical for CNA work, including lifting, transferring, and standing for extended periods
- Must pass pre-employment health screening and background check
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or as required by state policy
