Registered Nurse, PCU, Utica, New York, United States. Travel - temporary assignment starting 06/15/2026 for 13 weeks. Guaranteed 36 hours per week with a pay rate of 2,201 to 2,324 per week. Shift pattern: 2x3 Days. Work in an inpatient PCU/IMCU-focused unit within an acute care setting, caring for adults with neuro, cardiac, trauma, and respiratory conditions.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult patients (18+) in the PCU/IMCU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Monitor patients with neuro, cardiac, trauma, COPD, DKA, sepsis, MI, and post-operative needs; respond to changes in condition and escalate as needed.
- Manage specialty equipment and therapies (temp pacer, chest tubes, A-lines, BiPAP, Neptune Vapo) and assist with chronic vent management as assigned.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, coordinate with respiratory therapy, physicians, and support staff; participate in patient education and discharge planning.
- Document all care in the EPIC EMR system with accurate, timely charting and medication administration records.
- May float to other units as needed to meet patient care needs while maintaining unit standards and patient safety.

Requirements
- Active New York RN license; Nursys verification of licensure; All RN licenses must be current.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS current (American Heart Association/NIHSS recognition).
- Education: graduate of an accredited nursing program; RN licensure in New York.
- Experience: 2+ years of IMCU/PCU nursing experience.
- EMR experience: EPIC required.
- Ability to work in an adult inpatient setting; capable of responding to varied clinical scenarios.
- Local travel eligibility: will consider locals (within 75 miles) at local rates.
- RTO must be included at time of submission.
- Driver’s license with address that matches demographics.
