Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated perioperative nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the operating room.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, ensuring safe and efficient perioperative workflows.
- Coordinate care with surgical teams and other disciplines while applying critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team; participate in handoffs and post-operative debriefings.
- This position is represented by CNA.
Requirements
- Ability to perform perioperative nursing duties in an operating room setting.
- Availability to begin on 11/23/2026 and commit to a 12-week travel assignment.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week on a 5x8-hour shift.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in supervising and coordinating care for patients and support staff.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and professional judgment in the perioperative environment.
