Responsibilities
- Operate CT scanners (Siemens systems) to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images for neonate through geriatric patients
- Properly position and immobilize patients; select and implement appropriate scan protocols
- Monitor patient safety and radiation exposure; adhere to ALARA principles
- Verify orders and patient information; document imaging procedures and maintain image quality
- Collaborate with radiologists and other technologists to ensure accurate interpretation
- Support trauma, stroke, cardiovascular, procedural and routine exams across emergency, inpatient, and outpatient populations
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent CT experience
- ARRT CT certification (ARRT-CT)
- AHA BLS certification
- Experience with Siemens CT scanners
- Ability to work in a Level 2 trauma center environment and handle emergent imaging needs
- Availability for a 12-hour evening shift schedule
