ICU Registered Nurse Lead in Sonora, California. Start date 06/01/2026. Assignment length: 13 weeks. Pay range: $1,989–$2,071 per week. Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts (3x12). Setting: unit-based leadership in an acute care inpatient ICU environment.

Responsibilities
- Provide unit-based leadership and supervision of registered nurses and ancillary staff; collaborate with the Nurse Manager, Director, physicians, and the care team
- Direct daily patient care activities, using professional and supervisory discretion to assign and oversee staff across shifts
- Ensure cost-effective, professional, evidence-based care that results in positive outcomes and high patient safety
- Assess and advance quality of patient experience; implement improvement initiatives and monitor safety and outcomes
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary colleagues to optimize patient throughput, care transitions, and unit operations
- Support staff development, onboarding, and ongoing performance feedback within the ICU leadership role
Requirements
- Active California RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS preferred
- ICU/critical care experience required; prior lead or charge nurse experience is desirable
- Strong communication, collaboration, and clinical leadership skills
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and supervise a diverse nursing and ancillary staff
- Eligible to work in the United States; travel for a temporary assignment
