Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
Position: Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER) travel assignment in Marysville, California. Start date: 08/10/2026. Duration: 8 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,819 to $1,847. Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week. Shift: 3x12 rotating. Setting: hospital emergency department. This travel-temporary assignment is with Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for patients across a broad age range in the ER, from triage through discharge planning
- Perform rapid assessment, initial stabilization, and ongoing monitoring of patients with acute illnesses or injuries
- Collaborate with physicians and the health care team to develop and modify the plan of care based on the nursing process and patient input
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures per standing orders and physician directives; monitor for adverse effects and respond to changes in patient condition
- Coordinate with the trauma and emergency care team for patients requiring advanced interventions, including prioritizing care during high-acuity events
- Deliver patient and family teaching, provide discharge planning, and document care accurately and timely
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in California (or eligibility to practice in California)
- Minimum 4-6 years of ER/trauma nursing experience preferred
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred or as required by department
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and a rotating schedule in a fast-paced ER environment
- Eligibility to work in the United States; travel assignment availability for the stated location
