Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM–7:30 PM)
Work setting: inpatient pediatric unit (small, 3 beds) with family-centered care; not a pediatric ICU; may float to Med/Surg or Post-Partum as needed

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients in a non-ICU inpatient unit
- Monitor, assess, document, and respond to changes in patient status; administer medications and IV therapies as ordered
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Support family-centered care, including rooming-in and family education
- Maintain accurate and timely charting in the appropriate electronic medical record; ensure patient safety and infection control standards
- Participate in patient transitions, discharge planning, and caregiver instructions
- When assigned, float to Med/Surg or Post-Partum units with supervision and adherence to unit guidelines

Requirements
- Active Massachusetts RN license (required)
- Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License (Nursing Pool) must be uploaded with profile
- Minimum 3 years of current pediatric nursing experience (required)
- Adult Medical-Surgical experience preferred (to float as needed)
- Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
- BSN degree preferred
- Certifications: American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS (active)
- Perm address must be included in profile; traveler must have own vehicle
- Not considered local travel (resides more than 50 miles from the facility)
- RTO (time off) requests up front; limit of 3 days preferred
- Unit specifics: 3-bed pediatric unit with 1:3 patient ratio; no second nurse scheduled; call-outs limited
