Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (Travel) in Marysville, California. This travel temporary assignment starts on 08/10/2026 and runs for 8 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $1,739 to $1,904. Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for ER patients across the lifespan using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) aligned with the medical plan of care.
- Triage, treat, and support trauma and emergency patients of all ages in the department; coordinate with physicians and the health care team to deliver timely care.
- Monitor and document patient status, administer medications, manage equipment, and respond to emergent situations.
- Collaborate with the interprofessional team, supervise and delegate appropriate tasks to other nursing staff, and participate in discharge planning and patient education.
- Adapt care as needs change, ensure patient safety, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and significant others.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts in a high-acuity ER environment
- Experience in emergency department or trauma care preferred; capable of caring for patients across the lifespan
- Willingness to participate in a travel assignment and adapt to a fast-paced, acute care setting
- Current documentation and credentialing suitable for rapid onboarding (as required by the assignment)
