Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to obstetric patients and newborns across labor, delivery, postpartum, and mother/baby care, adapting care to age and developmental needs.
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, perform assessments, administer medications and interventions per policy, and respond to obstetric emergencies per standards of care.
- Document patient information accurately in the Epic EMR; collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans; educate patients and families on labor, delivery, breastfeeding, postpartum recovery, and newborn care.
- Maintain infection control, safety, and quality measures; manage equipment and supply needs; participate in unit-based quality initiatives.

Requirements
- Active New Hampshire RN license or compact license (must be uploaded with profile)
- New Hampshire Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate required to staff for temporary RN needs (must be uploaded upfront)
- Minimum 2 years Labor & Delivery experience
- Postpartum and Mother/Baby care experience
- Epic EMR experience
- Active American Heart Association BLS certification
- Active Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Own vehicle required
- Travel candidate must be able to start on 08/17/2026
- AWHONN certification within past 3 years is preferred
