Travel Registered Nurse – Operating Room (CVOR) in Lodi, California, starting 04/27/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay range $2,564 to $2,717 per week. No guaranteed hours. Shift: 5x8 days. Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital.

Responsibilities
- Provide intraoperative patient care in the cardiovascular operating room, including positioning, sterile technique, and assisting the surgical team.
- Scrub open heart procedures in solo capacity or with a second scrub, and assist with general OR cases (robotic, ortho, urology, gyn) as needed.
- Manage instrumentation, back-table setup, and equipment turnover; anticipate needs and communicate with surgeons and anesthesia.
- Monitor patient status intraoperatively, respond to emergent changes, and document events and supplies used.
- Participate in on-call coverage (approximately 50% of the time, typically full-week blocks; weekend on-call as required).
- Maintain compliance with safety protocols and EMR documentation to ensure accurate case tracking.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California (or eligibility to practice in CA).
- Minimum 2 years of recent open-heart/cardiac OR experience.
- Ability to scrub open-heart cases in a solo capacity or with a second scrub.
- Willingness to scrub CV cases and train/teach when appropriate.
- Experience in general OR cases (robotic, ortho, urology, gyn) is preferred.
- Cerner or Epic EMR experience is preferred.
- Availability for a 13-week travel assignment starting 04/27/2026; ability to relocate to the assignment location as needed.
