Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the ICU, including monitoring hemodynamics, airway management, and ventilator support.
- Manage CRRT and Prismaflex therapies, ensuring circuit function and patient safety.
- Administer medications and vasoactive infusions, monitor for adverse effects, and adjust per protocols.
- Execute accurate charting and medical documentation in EPIC EMR; perform timely assessments and updates.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams during rounds and shifts; respond to emergencies and critical events as they arise.
- Float to other ICU-related units as needed; maintain competency and safety across high-acuity care environments.
Requirements
- Active New York RN license with NURSYS verification; all active RN licenses must be in good standing.
- Current AHA ACLS and BLS certifications; NIHSS certification preferred.
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience; 4–5 years ICU experience preferred; travel experience required.
- EMR experience required: EPIC.
- Must have experience with CRRT and Prismaflex; heart care experience highly preferred.
- Floating required: ability to float to appropriate ICU units as needed.
- Driver’s license with address matching demographics; RTO (time off) requests must be included at submission.
