Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and oversight of nursing services for residents within the evening shift
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans; ensure resident safety and high-quality clinical care
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff; coordinate assignments and on-shift operations
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations; participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and Medical Director to optimize resident outcomes
- Manage documentation, incident reporting, and ongoing staff development to maintain regulatory readiness
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Washington state (or eligibility)
- Leadership/management experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings
- Strong knowledge of LTC regulations, quality metrics, and safety standards
- Ability to lead an evening shift and support travel assignment logistics
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- BSN preferred; relevant clinical management experience also valued
