Start date: 05/18/2026. This 13-week travel assignment offers guaranteed 40 hours per week with a weekly pay range of $2,255 to $2,435. Shift is 10-hour nights (Sun-Wed) with some on-call required. Setting: hospital-based imaging department.

Responsibilities
- Perform MRI exams using standard imaging protocols, adjusting parameters to optimize image quality while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Screen patients for contraindications, verify identity, and explain the procedure; monitor for patient distress and respond promptly.
- Position patients and coils accurately; select appropriate sequences, optimize parameters, and ensure proper artifact reduction for diagnostic quality.
- Maintain strict safety practices, including MRI safety screening, infection control, and device/implant checks; coordinate with radiologists on image interpretation.
- Document procedures, review images for technical adequacy, and communicate findings per department protocol; collaborate with technologists, nurses, and physicians as needed.
- Maintain equipment and quality control processes; report malfunctions and participate in safety drills as required.
Requirements
- ARRT MRI certification (MRI) required
- AHA BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of recent MRI experience within the specialty
- Ability to work 10-hour night shifts and to fulfill on-call requirements
- Ability to work effectively in a hospital imaging setting
