Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in Rolla, Missouri, starting 05/11/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment. Weekly pay ranges from $1,431 to $1,514. Guaranteed hours are not provided. Responsibilities
- Under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, assist with therapy treatments to improve mobility, daily living activities, and functional skills.
- Help patients perform prescribed exercises and treatment plans; monitor progress and document outcomes for the supervising OT.
- Maintain accurate patient records, update treatment notes, and ensure documentation reflects patient progress and history.
- Prepare treatment rooms and equipment, keeping spaces clean, organized, and ready for therapy sessions; uphold safety and infection control standards.
- Educate patients and family members or caregivers on home exercise programs, safety strategies, and techniques to support ongoing recovery.
- Collaborate with the OT and the care team to adjust activities based on patient response and goals; support patient independence and quality of life.
Requirements
- Missouri PTA license (active) required
- Minimum 1 year of OTA experience
- LTC or Rehab experience required
- Ability to work the day shift (Monday–Friday) in a travel assignment
- Strong communication and documentation skills; ability to update patient records and coordinate with the OT and care team
