Responsibilities
- Triage laboring patients and assess obstetric status upon arrival
- Circulate during labor and delivery and assist with procedures as needed
- Recover patients in the PACU after delivery or procedures
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, respond to changes, and implement care plans
- Administer medications and provide patient and family education per protocol
- Document care, assessments, and interventions in the medical record and communicate with the care team
Requirements
- Active RN license in Georgia (or eligibility to obtain)
- Ability to work nights and 12-hour shifts
- Experience or demonstrated ability to perform triage, circulating, and PACU recovery in an obstetric setting
- Travel assignment eligibility (temporary, non-permanent)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with the obstetric care team
