Registered Nurse – Long-Term Care (Travel) in Iola, Kansas. Start date: 04/20/2026 for a 10-week assignment with weekly pay ranging from $1,823 to $1,890 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting, including assessments and care planning.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments following physician orders and facility policies.
- Monitor residents’ conditions, document vital signs, changes, and progress; update care plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and adjust individualized care plans; communicate with residents’ families as needed.
- Ensure patient safety, falls prevention, infection control, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Document care accurately and manage admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed; perform effective handoffs.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Kansas
- Ability to fulfill a 10-week travel assignment starting 04/20/2026
- Availability for 12-hour day shifts (6:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.) and every-other-weekend schedule
- Strong clinical nursing skills in a long-term care setting
- Willingness to travel to Iola, KS for the assignment
