Physical Therapy Assistant needed for a travel assignment in a skilled nursing facility setting located in Kennebunk, Maine. Start date: June 15, 2026. Contract duration: 13 weeks. Guaranteed hours: 35 per week. Shift: 08:00–16:30, five days per week. Weekly pay: $1,376–$1,459.

Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services under supervision and per the plan of care for residents with mobility, strength, balance, and functional limitations.
- Implement and progress individualized treatment plans, including therapeutic exercises, gait training, and functional mobility tasks.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living as appropriate within the PT plan of care and facility guidelines.
- Document patient progress, treatment provided, and any changes to the plan of care in the designated health record system.
- Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team and with residents and their families to support quality outcomes.
- Participate in discharge planning, caregiver education, and ongoing performance improvement activities as assigned.
Requirements
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state of Maine
- Graduation from an accredited PTA program (Associate degree)
- Ability to work in a skilled nursing/long-term care setting
- Availability for a 13-week travel assignment with guaranteed hours and a fixed schedule
- Strong communication and documentation skills; ability to collaborate with the care team
