Responsibilities
- Provide direct, routine patient care under supervision of licensed staff, including activities of daily living.
- Assist residents with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
- Support with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and meals according to individualized care plans.
- Observe, document, and report changes in resident condition, comfort, pain, or safety concerns to supervising staff in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful care environment; adhere to infection prevention and standard precautions.
- Document care provided and update care plans as directed by the care team.
Requirements
- Local candidates only (Albuquerque area) for this assignment
- Night shift availability (18:00–06:30) on a 3x12 schedule
- Commitment to a 6-week assignment with guaranteed 36 hours per week
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to follow care plans and policies
- Ability to work effectively in a skilled nursing setting and meet the physical demands of the role
