Registered Nurse – House Supervisor needed for a travel assignment in a long-term care setting serving residents in Hanover, PA. Start date: May 11, 2026. This 6-week assignment offers 38 guaranteed hours per week with a night shift (5x8 Nights). You’ll work in a licensed nursing facility providing oversight of nursing care, supervision of staff, and collaboration with physicians to ensure quality resident care. This is a travel/per diem temporary assignment.

Responsibilities
- Provide monitoring and supervision of all functions on the shift to promote quality resident care.
- Ensure appropriate staffing, manage call-offs, and reallocate duties to maintain patient coverage.
- Collaborate with attending physicians, assist with care delivery, and oversee preparation of resident charts for visits.
- Observe, assess, and document resident health issues; communicate findings to the physician and coordinate follow-up.
- Review clinical records for timeliness and accuracy; update care plans as treatment changes occur.
- Orient new nursing personnel on the assigned shift; communicate clearly with families about resident health conditions; act as liaison among residents, families, and physicians.
- Interpret physician orders, provide education as needed, and prepare daily reports for the oncoming supervisor.
- Provide direct patient care as needed; enforce policy adherence and the established chain of command.
- Participate in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care plans; exercise sound clinical judgment.
- Report severe issues, concerns, and any abuse/neglect to administration per policy; participate in emergency/disaster planning as required.
- Assume manager-on-duty responsibilities during evenings and night shifts as assigned.

Requirements
- Active RN license in the state providing resident care (Pennsylvania)
- 2–4 years of supervisory experience in a geriatric long-term care setting
- Experience with MatrixCare EMR required
- Strong written and verbal communication, judgment, and coaching skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff
- Ability to react quickly and decisively in emergencies
- Physical ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds
