Travel Radiology X-Ray Tech Job
X-ray Technician - Radiology travel assignment in Atlanta, Georgia. Start date 04/20/2026 for a 6-week assignment with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Night shift consists of 10-hour nights, four shifts per week. Travel hospital setting, assignment includes cross-department support and potential extension opportunities.

Responsibilities
- Operate radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment to perform X-ray examinations across OR, ED, inpatient units, and portable imaging
- Evaluate images for technical quality; adjust positioning and technique to ensure diagnostic-quality results
- Maintain patient safety, radiation safety practices, and infection control; ensure proper mask fit when required
- Document procedures in the EMR (EPIC and Sectra) and coordinate with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff
- Support educational activities by working with students and conducting competency check-offs as assigned
- Adapt to department assignments and float to cover staffing needs as required
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year Level 1 trauma experience or 2–3 years at a large trauma Level 2 facility
- BLS required; ARRT certification required
- Graduated from a JRCERT/ARRT-approved program
- Ability to operate radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment; proficient with GE, Philips, and CareStream systems
- Comfortable imaging across OR, ED, inpatient, and portable radiography; willing to learn pediatric and neonatal imaging
- Able to work night shift and float as needed to support department operations
