Responsibilities
- Assist during cath lab procedures, including scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring as directed.
- Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to abnormal rhythms per protocol; monitor patient status throughout procedures.
- Prepare, position, and maintain equipment and supplies to support imaging and procedural needs; ensure sterile technique.
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure patient safety, comfort, and effective communication with patients and families.
- Document procedures and patient data promptly in the EMR (MediTech experience preferred); maintain accurate records.
- Support the overall workflow in the cath lab, including room turnover and equipment maintenance.
Requirements
- Active Arkansas Radiologic Technologist License – REQUIRED
- BLS (American Heart Association) – REQUIRED
- ACLS (American Heart Association) – REQUIRED
- 2 Supervisory Reference Forms, within the last two years – REQUIRED
- Cath Lab experience: 2+ years – REQUIRED
- Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms, scrub, circulate, and monitor during procedures
- MediTech EMR experience is preferred but not required
