Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic mammography exams using Hologic mammography units; ensure optimal image quality and patient safety
- Properly position patients, apply appropriate breast compression, and monitor radiation exposure and safety protocols
- Accurately document and route exam data within the EPIC EMR system; collaborate with radiologists and support staff
- Maintain equipment readiness and adherence to image quality and safety standards; assist with Visage/PACS workflow as needed
- Provide flexible scheduling with one weekend day per week; operate within a mix of 8-hour day/evening shifts
- Ensure all patient care and documentation meets ARRT (M) standards and BLS requirements; report any concerns to the team
Requirements
- ARRT (M) certification/verification required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of radiology/mammography experience
- EPIC experience within the past 2 years is required (nonnegotiable)
- Experience with Hologic mammography units; familiarity with Visage a plus
- Reliable transportation and ability to work a rotating day/evening schedule with weekend coverage
