Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under supervision, including assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding) and mobility.
- Help residents with transfers, positioning, and range-of-motion exercises as directed.
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ condition to the care team, including vital signs and symptoms.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment; practice proper infection control and safety protocols.
- Document care provided in charts and care plans, ensuring accurate and timely updates.
- Support a person-centered approach, respecting residents’ preferences and promoting dignity and independence.
Requirements
- Active CNA certification/licensure (state-approved) required
- Previous CNAs with experience in long-term care or assisted living settings preferred
- Ability to work the scheduled days shift and adapt to the needs of a resident-first care environment
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities
- Ability to follow care plans, safety procedures, and documentation protocols
- Able to pass standard background checks and health screenings as required
