Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines.
- Utilize critical thinking, professional judgment, and supervisory discretion in clinical decisions.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes; ensure accurate care plans and progress notes.
- Provide education and support to patients and families; promote safety and quality standards in a home hospice setting.
Requirements
- Active RN license in California.
- Oncology nursing experience or hospice/home health nursing background preferred.
- Ability to perform 12-hour shifts and participate in a 13-week travel assignment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work effectively in a home healthcare - hospice environment and follow established standards of care.
