Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting, under the supervision of a registered nurse
- Administer medications and document administration records according to policy and regulatory requirements
- Monitor residents’ health status, identify changes, and report promptly to the supervising RN
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility, ensuring safety and dignity
- Support care plan implementation and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team
- Maintain proper documentation, infection control practices, and a clean, safe environment
Requirements
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- Ability to work in a long-term care setting and meet the demands of a 40-hour weekly schedule
- Willingness to travel and participate in a temporary travel assignment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt to changing patient needs and maintain professional standards
