Overview
Registered Nurse – Clinic, travel assignment in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. This position starts on 08/18/2026 for 13 weeks with guaranteed 38 hours per week. Shifts are 5x8 rotating within a hospital-based ambulatory pediatric clinic. The role requires ambulatory pediatric outpatient clinic experience and bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills. Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to pediatric outpatients in the ambulatory clinic, under physician supervision
- Perform CLIA-waived testing, administer pediatric vaccines, and obtain blood samples as needed
- Document assessments, orders, treatments, and vaccines in the electronic medical record; ensure patient safety and accurate charting
- Collaborate with pediatric providers and clinic staff; participate in rotating Saturday morning shifts as required
- Provide age-appropriate education to patients and families; communicate with families in English and Spanish as needed
- Maintain infection control practices and uphold pediatric care protocols in a fast-paced outpatient setting

Requirements
- Active Colorado RN license to practice
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association
- 5+ years of pediatric clinic/ambulatory/outpatient experience
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Proficiency with CLIA-waived testing, pediatric vaccines, and blood draws
- Travel eligibility: permanent address at least 75 miles away from the facility; Colorado CAPS requirement may take up to two weeks to obtain
