Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting, including monitoring health status and responding to changes in condition.
- Administer medications and document doses, progress notes, and assessments according to physician orders and facility policy.
- Monitor vital signs, perform basic procedures, and ensure safety and comfort of residents during night shifts.
- Support activities of daily living (ADLs) and resident self-care, including mobility assistance and pain management.
- Collaborate with licensed staff and the interdisciplinary team to implement and adjust care plans.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and facility policies.
