Responsibilities
- Perform and document comprehensive ultrasound exams across multiple areas: Abdomen (Aorta, IVC, liver/biliary, pancreas, spleen, kidneys) including pathology, GYN (breast, ovaries, adnexa, uterus, pelvis), OB (all trimesters, amniocentesis, complications, biophysical profile, dating, placental grading, abnormalities, IGUR), neonatal abdomen/head, superficial structures (abdominal wall, breast, focal masses, hematoma, scrotum/testes, thyroid), and vascular studies (carotid duplex, upper/lower extremity venous and arterial duplex).
- Conduct intraoperative procedures, aspirations, biopsies, and drainage as required; neonatal head assessments for congenital anomalies.
- Operate ultrasound equipment (Canon i700) and document findings in the EMR and PACS (Meditech EMR, Fuji Synapse).
- Maintain high standards of patient care, infection control, and patient safety; float to other units/departments as needed.
- Collaborate with interpreting physicians and follow department protocols for quality assurance and reporting.

Requirements
- ARDMS board certifications in Abdomen (AB), Obstetrics (OB), and Vascular Technology (RVT)
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
- Minimum 3 years’ full-time ultrasound experience in an acute hospital setting
- Prior travel or contract experience preferred (one contract or more)
- Ability to float to other units/departments as needed and work in a hospital environment
- Must arrive the Thursday before the start date to complete employee health requirements
