Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting under supervision of a licensed nurse.
- Monitor resident conditions, document vital signs, and report changes promptly to the supervising nurse.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments within scope of practice and facility policy.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, mobility, hygiene, and comfort measures.
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation and care plans; participate in routine charting and handoffs.
- Collaborate with the health care team to update care plans and respond to changes in resident status.
Requirements
- Active LPN license in New Mexico
- Local candidate eligible to work in Albuquerque, NM
- Ability to work a 3x12-hour shift schedule (06:00–18:30)
- Experience in long-term care or geriatrics preferred; not required
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced LTC environment and to travel for a temporary assignment
