Responsibilities
- Provide continuous, compassionate nursing care for adult and older adult patients on a 32-bed med-surg unit
- Monitor patient status, perform focused assessments, and escalate changes to the interdisciplinary team
- Administer medications, including IV therapies and acute medications as ordered (trauma patients and heparin drips may be involved)
- Perform frequent bedside care, wound management, and telemetry observation as indicated
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record per unit policy
- Collaborate with physicians, case management, and therapy services to support safe transitions and discharge planning

Requirements
- Current RN license to practice in Georgia
- BLS and ACLS certifications active at time of assignment
- Documented med/surgical and telemetry experience
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts; flexible to meet unit needs
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Ability to work in a fast-paced med-surg setting and handle adult/older adult patient populations
